Lewes Netball Club (LNC) is a club for girls in school years 7 to 11. The club is open to any girls who want to improve their skills and regularly play netball. 
 
The club has been running since 2001 providing training facilities and league participation for girls who are enthusiastic about netball.

We train at Southdown Sports Club, Cockshut Rd, Lewes between 6.45 and 8:00pm

Training
During training we learn skills and drills to improve play; including improving passing and catching; balance and footwork; and tactical skills and use of space. The second half of the training is match practice where the players specialise in their favourite position but also play out of position to ensure they develop their all round game.

Matches
This season 2011/12 we have an under 12, 14 and an under 16 squad participating in the East Sussex Junior Netball League. The best and most committed players will be chosen to represent Lewes in the league.

From year 11 the girls can play for Lewes Lightning in the adults Eastbourne Netball League or the indoor league in Lewes

As well as league matches we enter tournaments and have 'friendlies' with other local clubs so you will get plenty of opportunities to play matches.
